Our guest house
Do you like to experience the real Rome, to see an alternative area very close to the city centre? Bologna/Nomentano is a good choice. This semi-central residential neighborhood immediately outside the north-east part of the ancient walls, may surprise you. Just far enough from the city centre to avoid his chaos, but close enough to have easy and efficient access to Romes most important must-see-sights. Bologna/Nomentano prides itself on leafy green spaces like Villa Torlonia and a very friendly and quiet atmosphere. Home of important embassies, it’s adjacent to Rome’s university, the third largest in the world, by far the biggest in Europe with its 200,000 students). Bologna/Nomentano is well connected with bus (61,62, 490, 491, 495), tram (3 and 19 Vatican, Villa Borghese, Trastevere) and metro to all the important areas of Rome. It is the ideal neighborhood to get to know Romans and their life. Favorite haunt for socialising locals on warm evenings (notably piazza Bologna). Nearby San Lorenzo district invites you to discover the Roman night life, where you can breath the Bohemian atmosphere; pick a pub and have some cheap drinks and good food.
